30 December 2007

Almost forgot this one...

Oh how  I love 'Let Love Lead The Way'. This song is terribly underrated, it was totally overshadowed by 'Holler' (which, to be honest is better...) but still, it's amazing.  BUT THE VIDEO IS SO WRONG. Emma is obvs water, not earth... stupid people.

How do you describe a feeling?

SOOOOO glad 'In My Arms' is being released as the second single from X instead of 'Wow' !!!  The song is amazing, its obvious that Calvin Harris produced it from the second you first hear it, but it's still SO Kylie. I'm loving the promo cover too.

24 December 2007

DANGER!DANGER!DANGER!!!!!!

Okay so I officially discovered Dangerous Muse today. And I have to say that I absolutely LOVE them. They're these 2 boys from New York who make the most amazing electro music.  'Everyday Is Halloween' is my favourite of theirs so far, but that will probably change with time.

23 December 2007

Oh my...

I'm not overly impressed with this. Can you get much cheesier? "Oh I have an idea! Let's get pulled on stage in a sleigh by two creepy looking men dressed up as reindeer and then sing!" the response -  "oh brilliant!" Only it's actually the cheesiest performance possible. The singing was nice atleast... and it was live!

'Santa Claus Is Coming To Town' live at the Friday Night Christmas Project
Girls Aloud

Gutted!

So 'Change' by the Sugababes has debuted at #13 in the singles chart... I'm pretty gutted. The song wasn't the greatest, and it is the Christmas charts, but with the amount of promotion and praise from the press I expected better. 'About You Now' is #19 in the charts right now, which is AMAZING considering how long it's been out. Anyways, I hope 'Change' rises after Christmas but I doubt it. Hopefully 'Denial' can get the 'Babes back on top when it's released in the spring.

Through the years...

'White Christmas' by the Sugababes....

You're favourite Christmas crackers ...

'Jingle Bell Rock' live at Christmas Mania
Girls Aloud

22 December 2007

Let the funky music doing the talking, talking...

'Can't Speak French' live at the Friday Night Christmas Project
Girls Aloud

I can't help but think that this is the wrong single choice. 'Girl Overboard' or 'Close To Love' would have been MUCH better. I'm scared this song will bomb and there won't be another single off of Tangled Up after it. Oh well .. the performance was decent, it's nice that their singing live so much lately...

Mad hatter.

'2 Become 1' live at Strictly Come Dancing
Spice Girls

Attn Melanie C: top hats are ugly, stop wearing them so everyone talks about you and how ugly they are and how ugly you look in them - you attention whore.
Attn Spice Girls: good job actually singing live. Loved it.

17 December 2007

Confessions.

I'm excited for this issue.

16 December 2007

I'm excited!

So the tracklisting for the American edition of Natasha Bedingfield's second album has been announced, and I'm really excited. The album Pocketful Of Sunshine (it was called N.B. internationally when released this past spring) is released in January in the US and Canada, and it looks like an entirely new album!

1. Put Your Arms around Me
2. Pocketful of Sunshine
3. Happy
4. Love Like This (feat. Sean Kingston)
5. Craziness
6. Soulmate *
7. Say It Again *
8. Angel
9. Freckles
10. Backyard *
11. Who Knows *
12. Pirate Bones *
13. Salt in My Wounds * (I'm guessing this is a new version of 'Not Givin' Up', I hope so atleast!)
* = on original N.B. album

So seven of the tracks are new, and if it's anything like Unwritten, a few of the tracks from N.B. will have been remixed. I'm soooooooo excited for this album to be released. I just hope they change the cover soon, this image is like 2 years old-not to mention it was the cover of her live DVD! GROSS.

Get your mime on.

Jeeze Suga's.

I've got a pocketful of sunshine...

Okay I've been waiting for this song to leak in HQ  ever since it was on The Hills' finale this past Monday. It's a new Natasha Bedingfield song called 'Pocketful of Sunshine', the title track to her new US album. I loooooove it.

Theif.

Jeeze Keisha, way to steal the belt Heidi wore on the 'Change' single cover for this performance ...

12 December 2007

A-L-P-H-A-B-E-A-T-!

Okay so I officially love Alphabeat! They're so cute. This song isn't my favourite, but the video is so cutesy I just had to post it first. It's called 'Boyfriend' and all that yeah.

Pretty ... glam

I'm really starting to like this whole "USB single" business, they look nice.

Amazing right? Like the whole logo on the USB bit and the logo on the strap and everything... I'm impressed with them. AND if the Sugababes' are releasing their new single on USB than USB single's MUST be cool... duh.

I like this.

KYLIE! KYLIE! KYLIE! KYLIE!!!!
This is like my favourite picture right now, so yeah.

So ridics!

I absolutely LOVE Emma Bunton's video for 'Crickets Sing For AnaMaria' it's so ridiculous and cheap and tacky looking. It's PERFECT!

How amazing was that!!!! The best 2 minutes and 45 seconds of your day? I think so!

GLITTER GLITTER GLITTER

Okay so having scenes of people covered in glitter in music videos is definately the latest trend. I really should have seen this one coming ... first the Sugababes' video for 'Change', and now Delta Goodrem's video for 'Believe Again'.

03 December 2007

When 5 become 1.

I'm absolutely in love with Emma Bunton's solo version of '2 Become 1' right now. It's beautiful. I think I like it more than the original Spice Girls version right now.

So much for "featuring"...

So here's the new Mutya video for 'B Boy Baby' which features Amy Winehouse, who I guess couldn't be bothered to be in the video. Pretty boring, but better than the awful 'Just A Little Bit'

02 December 2007

GLAM COUNTDOWN...

...to Christmas! Calvin Harris & Popjustice are posting these daily for the whole month, oh jeeze. These jokes are so awful, but I still love them hah.

I'm behind on these so here's yesterdays (Dec 1st) AND today's (Dec 2nd) videos!

WHO ON EARTH IS TO BLAME FOR THIS?!

Who on earth let Heidi go on television to perform the new Sugababes single Change looking like this. Honestly, people behind the scenes are sooooo obvs trying to sabotage her. Just because she was the only one to be offered a solo deal doesn't mean you can sabotage her, idiots.

Change - live at Strictly Come Dancing;

Oh and btw, Strictly Come Dancing: stop having stupid dancers dance in front of the performers. All the rest of the show is about the dancers, let the performers have 3 minutes on stage to themselves. Please and thank you.

Emma-licious.

Okay, so I basically had an Emma Bunton (from the Spice Girls, omg DUHZ) party tonight. Her second album Free Me is SO amazing. Like, seriously, it's brilliant.  Like the whole look and sound and everything was spot on. I'm really hoping she sings something from this album as her solo song on the Spice Girls tour, it's definitely the highlight of her solo career. Everyone should buy Free Me and listen to it all day, every day, forever. Maybe, Breathing, No Sign Of Life and I'll Be There are absolute masterpieces. It's a shame that the album never got the recognition it deserved. Stupid public.  Anyways, here's her video for Maybe, which is absolutely fantastic.

24 November 2007

Music make you lose control...

OKAY SO THE SONG 'SPEAKERPHONE' ON KYLIE'S NEW ALBUM X IS JUST AMAZING. LISTEN TO IT. SERIOUSLY, IF YOU DON'T LOVE IT, YOU HAVE MAJOR ISSUES.

Boring.

Okay, so here's the new Sugababes' single cover. The picture is absolutely amazing, but its the exact same cover as About You Now, just with a different picture...

Boringz. This would have been much nicer.

Oh well.

19 November 2007

Read-azon.

Okay, so something new, a monthly. Here's my monthly readings! haha, I'll be doing more of these sort of things soon, maybe.

Magazines
- Arena Homme +
- Man About Town
- VMan
- Heat
- GQ
Books
- Learning To Fly - Victoria Beckham
- That Extra Half An Inch
- Skinny Bitch
- White Noise
- Tabloid Love

I clearly love to get my read on. They're all really good (well Tabloid Love and Learning To Fly are so far, I'm not that far into either.) Man About Town is like the nicest magazine ever, btw, so is Arena Homme +. Extra glam!

IT'S VP DAY!

Okay, so today is the wonderful Victoria's birthday, so I obvs have to blog about it.

First of all, I went all out and BAKED for her. And made beautiful cupcakes, which I don't do often. And then everyone spent all day spoiling her, duh.  So yeah, it was ultra glam. We (me, VP, Goldie & Glammie - obvs, who else is there?) went on a Starbucks run and were fatties and had McDonalds at lunch, so much for the anorexia, omg kidding! Obvs!  Geri Halliwell, take note; anorexia is bad bad bad. I sound like some sort of public service announcement, ugh, horrible. But yeah, idk what else to write really, so BYE BYE.

OH AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY VP. DUH.

18 November 2007

They've got the X factor.

SOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD!
Girls Aloud, I am impressed! All these live performances lately, good job. A proper performance. It's Call The Shots live at X Factor, by the way.

Odd one out?

Okay, Melanie C WHAT ON EARTH ARE YOU WEARING? Honestly, you are so gross. I do not even know what to say. Look at the other four girls looking all nice in their dresses and then you in a suit and top hat?!!!?!?!?!!? What is wrong with you!? Honestly, grrrl you need some serious help in the wardrobe department. I thought if anything that VB would be able to save you, but I guess even she can't -  you mess.

17 November 2007

Girl overboard!

Okay, so the new Girls Aloud album, Tangled Up, is amazing! Especially this track Girl Overboard. Kimberly gets to sing so much of it, I loooooooves it.

Live-alicious.

About You Now
Sugababes

Uh, so
a) This song is great;
b) The 'Babes actually sing live; and
c) There's been alot of performances of this song;
So I thought I'd do a little post of a few recent performances I haven't put on her before. They are:

- Live at the TMF Awards
- Live at Children In Need
- Live at Televizierring

And no, I am not over this song yet. And no, I never will be.

TREND ALERT!

ATTENTION:
BLACK LEATHER GLOVES ARE THE LATEST TREND. THEY'RE OBVS GONNA BE SOLD OUT ALL AROUND THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD SOON, SO GET THEM QUICK. IN CASE YOU THINK I'M CRAZY AND DON'T BELIEVE ME, I HAVE PROOF OF THEIR GLAMNESS! JUST WATCH THIS:

THEY'RE OBVS GLAM IF THE SPICE GIRLS, ESPECIALLY VB WEAR THEM!!
(Oh and that performance was pretty amazing, right?! Only downside was that it was lipsynced, but it was for Children In Need, so that kind of makes it okay. I LOVE that they kept the old dance routine, perfection.

15 November 2007

Look's like an early winter...

So Gwen Stefani has FINALLY gotten her senses back and released a video for 'Early Winter', it's a shame that such an amazing song is probably not going to be promoted and will go unnoticed.

OMG OKAY SO YAHOO VIDEO IS BEING RIDICULOUS AND I CAN'T POST THE VIDEO, SO YEAH I'LL ADD IT ONCE IT'S ON YOUTUBE. THIS IS JUST AN OUTRAGE! Etc, etc, etc. Shameful, really.

AMAZING.

OKAY HERE IS THE NEW SUGABABES VIDEO FOR 'CHANGE'. IT'S SOOOO AMAZING, IT'S ACTUALLY MADE ME LOVE THE SONG!

Jeeze, someone's getting artistic...

...and it's really nice.
Good work  Kylie, the back cover of 'X' is just perfect.

I seriously cannot wait to have this album in my hands.

14 November 2007

It's rather shit.

AMAZING single choice, although I thought 'Break The Ice' was the confirmed second single? Well 'Piece Of Me' is even better. But that cover! Honestly, Jive need to start spending more than 2 minutes making covers, no one's going to want to buy that piece of crap. Dumbasses.

Proper.

Now THIS is a proper commercial.

Oh and the fact that the Spice Girls are in it doesn't hurt either.

HOW AMAZING ARE VB AND EMMA? They are my favourite people ever.

Uh, you probs don't care but ...

...I got a new job. At Jacob Connexion, REALLY exiting!

That's all, BYE!

12 November 2007

Sensibility.

"Sugababes' Heidi Range has said that she has no plans to go solo because it would be too "tough".
The popstar has reportedly been offered the opportunity to forge a career away from the band, but turned it down because she isn't sure she could handle the pressures of working on her own.
Range told the Daily Star: 'I like making music but my ambitions are to do well with the band.'
'It’s too tough out there as a solo star on my own. I have seen so many fall and it isn’t nice'"

Heidi, you are just the best. That's the most sensible thing I have ever heard a member of a group say. Going solo almost never works, so why risk it? Although I would LOVE a Heidi solo album seeing as I am somewhat fond of her, but still, her with the 'Babes is amazing enough for me.

Sooooooooooooo profesh!

OKAY SO HONESTLY HOW AMAZING DO MY LATEST POSTS LOOK? SERIOUSLY! I AM SUCH A PROFESSIONAL BLOGGER NOW. YOU ALL SHOLD BE JEALOUS OF MY SKILLZ, OBVS.

You probably want to know my secret to profesh blogging, but no matter how hard you try, you'll never be this good at it, obvs. First you start with Windows Live Writer, and then you add a whole lot of glam and there you go! PROFESH BLOGGING IN TWO EASY STEPS! I should write how-to books, honestly, I'd be soooooo amazingly good at them.

THAT'S ALL! BYEBYE.

It's pretty ... w-w-w-w-w-w-w-WOW!

Soooo Kylie Minogue's television special The Kylie Show aired in the UK this past weekend, and she performed a pile of new tracks from X. The album is seriously going to be sooooo amazing. I'm so excited for it. So here's my three favourite of the new tracks:

Wow
Oh jeeze ... THE HAIR! Kylie what were you thinking? The song is still AMAZING though.

The One
The best performance! She looks like a DOLL. Honestly, amazing.

No More Rain
The song Kylie had to fight to have included on the album, it's cute. About her cancer, etc. I loveee it.

07 November 2007

Uhhh, this is obviously the best commercial EVER.

That's right.

Okay, this is like my favourite video EVER! Calvin, you are just the best. Good on you for making a video even though the label wouldn't give you money to make a "proper"  one, this one's better than a "proper" one ever could have been.

I WANT THIS!

I REALLY REALLY DO!
It's a bit plain but it's the SPICE GIRLS! And that's all that really matters.

Someone buy me it, please.

Sample-addict.

Okay, so I officially love songs that include samples at the moment. They are simply the best thing ever thought of. I'm really amazed by how they always make amazing songs sound even better, whoever thought these up, I love you, be my best friend, okay?

Listen to/watch this and you'll see why.

In The Middle
Sugababes

It samples U Know Y by Moguai, which was brilliant to start off with, but the sample of it  just makes it even better.

04 November 2007

Get up and use your voodoo.

OKAY SO THE NEW SONG FROM THE SPICE GIRLS GREATEST HITS LEAKED.
I LOVE IT! IT'S CALLED 'VOODOO' AND SOUNDS LIKE THIS:

AMAZING, RIGHT?!

I really need to update.

But I'm tired.
So I will later.
If I remember.

31 October 2007

HAHAHA OMG THIS IS SO RIDICULOUS

KYLIE IS RELEASING 'X' ON USB STICK FORMAT,
AND IT'S GOING TO LOOK LIKE THIS:

IT'S SO RIDICULOUS LOOKING,
HAHAH I LOVE IT.

IT'SHALLOWEEN!!!OMGzEXCITING/SCARYZZZ!!1!!!1!!!!!!!etc

Uhhhh, so it's halloween.
Which is pretty glam.
I dressed up as a GlamKing, with a cape with 'Glam' written in jewels on it.
IT WAS REALLY AMAZING.

That's all.

30 October 2007

Fast like a hurricane...

Okay, so my new favourite song is 'Like The Weather' by the Sugababes.
It was a b-side to 'Push The Button' all theh way back in 2005 when MutMut was still in the band.
It's amazing, like I really don't understand how it didn't make the album and was only a b-side.
Silly record label.

IT'S AMAZING, RIGHT?!

I'm still not over it.

OKAY SO I OFFICIALLY STILL LOVE 'ABOUT YOU NOW' BY THE SUGABABES.
AND I AM HEARTBROKEN THAT IT IS NO LONGER #1.
So here is a video of the 'Babes performing it at the TMF Awards so you don't forget it quite yet.

I have a few comments to make though:
a) Amelle, what is up with that hair?
b) Keisha, put on some proper pants, silly.
and,
c) Heidi, wonderful job, perfect as always, etc.

Oh, look who it is...

...it's ME.
Pretty glam.
YouTube video number one.
It's really bad.
Consider yourself warned.

WATCH AT YOUR OWN RISK.

28 October 2007

I'm the one....

...love me, love me, love meeeeee.

Okay, so here's a clip of the track 'The One' from Kylie's new album. It's amazing, seriously.

25 October 2007

I'm almost tempted to take it back...

Dear Girls Aloud,
How can you make such brilliant covers for your new single and then use this as your album cover:

What, are you trying to be artsy or alternative or something all of a sudden? Get over it and make a decent cover, with your PICTURE on it. Like people don't associate you with your name or new logo, they associate you with pictures and your image. Get over yourselves. I kind of like the cover, but in an promotional cover, or like "deluxe edition" kind of way, because fans would obvs know what it is, etc.

End of rant.

Good job Girls Aloud (cont'd!)

SO HERE'S THE COVER FOR CD2 OF 'CALL THE SHOTS'

Incase you couldn't tell, the strings are actually telephone lines, and the single is called "call" the shots, as in telephone "call", etc. See it now? No? Okay well I'm obvs just a genius.

Good job Girls Aloud...

...I am impressed. You've managed to:
a)Put out an AMAZING single...
b)...With an amazing video
c)And now there's an amazing single cover to go with it all.
SO good for you, I'd almost clap for you but that's a bit much now, isn't it?

This is just tragic.

DANNII MINOGUE WHAT ON EARTH WERE YOU THINKING!
This video ... it's just tragic. It seriously hurts my eyes. The hair, the outfit, the overall cheapness, it's awful. Oh and the dancers in weird outfits = way to rip off your sister dumb ho. Like the song is decent, but with a video like this, do you really expect it to do well?

Dannii Minogue VS Jason Nevins - 'Touch Me Like That'

OH AND BY THE WAY, I FIND THAT FACT THAT JASON NEVIN PRODUCED THIS SONG JUST PLAIN DISTURBING, HE USED TO BE SO GOOD. LIKE THAT SONG 'I'M IN HEAVEN' WAS JUST AMAZING, AND NOW HE'S BEEN REDUCED TO THIS! IT'S REALLY HEARTBREAKING, SERIOUSLY.

That's all.

23 October 2007

It's growing on me.

So the new Spice Girls single 'Headlines (Friendship Never Ends)' premiered. It's growing on me. It's a bit bland. I wanted a big ballad like 'Goodbye', but it's growing on me, it's kind of cute, and just knowing that it's their reunion song makes me like it. SO LISTEN TO IT, OBVS. Emma wrote most of it, so that's a plus too.

Can we bring another week at #1 around?

SO THE SUGABABES ARE #1 FOR THE FOURTH, YES FOURTH!!!, WEEK IN A ROW WITH 'ABOUT YOU NOW' SOOOO GOOD, OMG.

So here's them performing 'About You Now' all ballad-y at Radio 1 like a month ago, I forgot to post it back then, so yeah.

OMGZ!!!!111!!!!!BIG NEWS!!!!SOOOEXCITEDZ

SO, I'M GOING TO SEE THE SPICE GIRLS!!!
AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH I'M SO EXCITED!
OMG OMG OMGZ!

THAT'S ALL.

22 October 2007

It's Britney bitch.

I'M SO EXCITED FOR THIS ALBUM.

That's all.

21 October 2007

I'M REALLY EXCITED FOR THIS TO BE RELEASED.

Now THIS is what I call a "deluxe" edition, the normal album PLUS a DVD, a remix disc AND a karaoke disc, and other "goodies" too apparently. I'm excitedz.

This could have been amazing.

Sugababes' performing 'About You Now' acoustically at Freshly Squeezed. It started off so good, and then hit the chorus and Amelle messed it all up. Then it got good again, and Amelle butchered the second chorus. Finally Heidi made is amazing, and then Amelle murdered the last chorus, and Keisha didn't bother with her big adlibs. JEEEEEEZE.

It could have been amazing, but instead look what it's turned out like.

Do you see who I am now that you're standing this close?

Okay so I have officially forgiven Delta Goodrem for her horrible video to her latest single, because her new album is amazing. I'm so glad she's out of that dark stage, happy Delta is far better. OH AND SHE'S GOTTEN REALLY SKINNY! Like she used to be skinny but now she's like woah, skinny bitch. And he hair's looking pretty glam now. So yeah.

'Possessionless'

(It's a new requirement for all good songs to have double-S's repeated in the title, in case anyone was unaware.)

20 October 2007

Coming soon.

So I've decided to add some more features to the blog, it's getting a bit too music-y for my tastes. So here's what will be coming to the blog soon:

Week of ...
Basically, I pick a person, thing, whatever, and ramble on about them all week. Pretty glam.
YouTube videos.
Yeah, me on YouTube, it's a pretty scary thought, I know.

Those are the only 2 big things really, other than that I don't really know what I'm going to add, but it's obvs gonna be GLAMOUROUS!

18 October 2007

& CALL THE SHOTS NOW ON ME OOOOOOH!

I LOVE THE NEW GIRLS ALOUD VIDEO FOR 'CALL THE SHOTS'.
The single is just brilliant. I love love LOVE it.
It actually looks like money has been put into the video for the second time in their five year career. Jeeze.

16 October 2007

A new magazine for my reading list.

This looks REALLY nice. I want to read it, all the time.

14 October 2007

Triple threats.

SO THE SUGABABES ARE #1 IN THE ALBUMS, SINGLES, AND DOWNLOADS CHART THIS WEEK!
SOOOOOOOOO EXCITING. Even just a double #1 is amazing, but a triple #1 = SUPER GLAMOUROUS.

So yeah, another live video of 'About You Now' with a lovely introduction by Heidi.

13 October 2007

I WANT THESEEEEEE!

Someone buy me them, please and thank you.

12 October 2007

OMGZIT'SJUSTLIKESOOOOOOSCANDALOUS!!!!11!!!1!!!!!!!!

Okay, so Billie Piper (who I love, btw. She's a popstar/actress, everything.) is starring in this new show Secret Diary of a Call Girl. It's basically about Billie as a prostitue. It's based on the blogs of an anonymous London call girl who went by the name Belle de Jour. It's honestly so good! Really scandalous and all that.

I tried to find a preview for it on youtube but it sucks and has like nothing from the show on it.
Check out the real-life Belle de Jour's blog, it's on the glampages bit of the sidebar.
That's all for now.

Fourth day of Suga means...

...that it's time for a ballad. This one's called 'Mended By You' and opens with a Heidi verse! Oh myyy it's just so wonderful. So yeah. Here you go. Make this one a special place in your heart along with '3 Spoons of Suga'.

11 October 2007

Third day of Suga...

...means that '3 Spoons of Suga' is the Sugababes song of the day. I'M JUST SOOO CLEVER, JEEZE, HOW DO I DEAL WITH BEING SO AMAZING.

It's called '3 Spoons of Suga' which is quite clever and witty, etc. Listen to it, love it, make it a special place in your heart, etc.

10 October 2007

This is pretty cute.

Oh Kylie ...

Thank you, whoever you are.

SO SOMEONE WHO HAS AMAZING YOUTUBE SKILLZ, UNLIKE ME, ADDED THE NEW GIRL ALOUD SINGLE 'CALL THE SHOTS' TO IT, SO YOU CAN NOW LISTEN TO IT'S BRILLIANCE.
Whoever you are that uploaded it, you are amazing and have wonderful taste in music, can we be bffls now? Okay great.

I'm in love ... woo!

SO THE NEW KYLIE SINGLE / VIDEO PREMIERED.
AND THE SINGLE IS ACTUALLY REALLY REALLY GOOD.
I'm just kind of not that excited by it cause I've had the original Kish Mauve demo for months, but whatever.
The video is really boring, like Kylie with a band?! Who thought up that idea. Ridiculous.
I can't find the video on youtube yet, so here's just the single '2 Hearts'

It's a bit like being underwater.

OKAY ANOTHER SUGABABES SONG! BIG SHOCK THAT I'D EVER POST ONE, I KNOW.
This one's called 'Denial' and it's rather brilliant.
It sounds like the 'Babes are trapped in a submarine, which is a good thing.
From now on I'm thinking every album needs a song that sounds like it was recorded underwater.
It'd definately up the glamour quotient.

OH AND FOR THOSE WHO FORGET, THIS SONG IS RATHER HEIDI-HEAVY, AS I MENTIONED PREVIOUSLY WHEN I POSTED A LIVE VIDEO OF IT, ETC.

09 October 2007

BRILLIANT IDEA, JEEZE I AM SOOOOO SMART!

SO SINCE I AM SOOOOOO IN LOVE WITH THE SUGABABES NEW ALBUM RIGHT NOW I AM JUST GOING TO POST ONE SONG FROM IT EACH DAY THIS WEEK. BRILLIANT RIGHT? YEAH I KNOW. GENIUS = ME, ETC.

Here's 'Open The Door' which is AMAZING. Heidi's verse is amazing, I love all the echo-y backing vocals, etc. And the fact the chorus doesn't fade at the end! Brilliance right there.

LOLOLOL I'M SUCH A CREEP. I MEAN FANBOII, LOLOLOLZZZZ!!!1!

THE NEW KYLIE SINGLE PREMIERES IN 5 HOURS AND 45 MINUTES!
I'm ever-so-slightly excited incase you couldn't tell.
That's all.

Static tone on the phone, etc.

OKAY SO THE NEW GIRLS ALOUD SINGLE IS OFFICIALLY RATHER AMAZING.
I was iffy about the whole "mid-tempo" business, but it is actually rather nice.
So yeah the song's called 'Call The Shots' and is quite enjoyable.
Best bit is that Nadine doesn't hog the whole song and Kimberley gets a whole line to herself in the chorus!
Oh and the middle 8 mentions glitter and such, which is nice.
AND THERE'S SOME "OOH" BITS IN IT TOO!

ONCE SOMEONE WHO IS MUCH MORE TECHNOLOGICALLY ADVANCED THAN I AM POSTS THE SONG ON YOUTUBE I WILL LINK IT, ETC.

I rather like this.

...it's TIGA!!! And one of those people from the Scissor Sisters but whatever, who cares about that. So yeah anyways, I stumbled across Tiga this summer and have like fallen in love with his album, it's amazing. So yeah watch the video / listen to 'You Gonna Want Me', it's pretty glam.

07 October 2007

Someone new, but not really.

Well, I don't think I've talked about the amazing Siobhán Donaghy on her before, so why not start. She is one of my favourite artists ever! She was in the original lineup of the Sugababes and released one album with them before leaving to pursue a solo career. She released one solo album which flopped and was dropped from her label. She returned this year with two singles and a sophomore album, all of which basically flopped as well. BUT THEY ARE ALL SO BRILLIANT! She's releasing 'Medevac' as the third single from her album 'Ghosts' early next year, which will be amazing. This video is for 'Don't Give It Up', the first of the two singles she released this year. The video was filmed in Morocco and is absolutely gorgeous, so here we go:

!!!1!2NDWEEK!!!OMGZZ!SUGABABES4EVAAAA!!!!111

OKAY SO! THE SUGABABES ARE #1 YET AGAIN THIS WEEK WITH THEIR SINGLE 'ABOUT YOU NOW' WHICH IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOO AMAZINGLY EXCITING, LIKE WOAH!
So their new album 'Change' is released tomorrow, so hopefully they'll have a #1 album with it, and maybe even a #1 single AND album the same week! THAT'D BE PRETTY GLAMOUROUS!

So here's a video of the 'Babes performing 'About You Now' at GMTV last week, Heidi outsings the others in the chorus for once which is just wonderful!

That's all.

I don't get it.

What happened to music videos that told or a story? Or atleast ones that matched the songs and were somewhat interesting? Do people even bother coming up with concepts anymore? Or do they just walk into a white room with some chairs and film a video? I really don't get it.

This video, for Delta Goodrem's new single 'In This Life', is the dullest thing I've seen all month. Okay, so Delta likes sitting in chairs? And I guess everyone sits in a chair at some point in the life, so that's the point of the video - everyone's sat in a chair! Bravo whoever came up with that genius concept, you are clearly an idiot.

Delta, we need another video (and single) like this, asap. Okay?

06 October 2007

Whatever you've got, I'm guessing I've got more.

OKAY THIS SONG IS JUST COMPLETE BRILLIANCE!
IT'S OBVIOUSLY BY THE SUGABABES AND IS CALLED 'MY LOVE IS PINK'
And it's produced by Xenomania which helps explain it's brilliance.

Best part is that Heidi gets a verse AND the middle 8, jeeeeeeze it's like Heidi-heaven.

OH AND BE SURE TO BUY THE SUGABABES' NEW ALBUM 'CHANGE'!
It's out Monday!

Rounding is clearly the way of the future...

...for the Sugababes atleast. Right angle corners are clearly so last century, so the 'Babes are rounding every corner in sight for all their new releases. I must say I am quite the fan of it, rounded corners are the only way to go.

EXHIBIT D: 'Change' promo sleeve:

SOOOOOOOOO GLAMOUROUS!
I was so impressed that I was going to change this blog layout to have rounded corners, but of course blogger has no layouts with rounded corners. They're clearly behind the times.

05 October 2007

K + Y = X, duhhhh.

Okay, Kylie's team are sooooo good. This is the best album cover I've seen all year. For those of you who are visually impaired, the K and Y make an X under Kylie, and X is the name of the album, duhhh.

The record goes around when they're playing our song...

..OMG HONESTLY, THE NEW SUGABABES ALBUM IS THE BEST THING I'VE HEARD IN MY WHOLE LIFE, AND I STILL HAVEN'T LET MYSELF LISTEN TO THE WHOLE THING! I am being good and saving 4 tracks until I actually have the CD in my hands. Will power!!! So glamourous, etc. So here's one of my favourites from the album (there's ALOT of favourites so far, all but 2 tracks, so yeah). This one's written by Heidi, so it's better than all the rest just because of that.

'Never Gonna Dance Again'

My new favourite adjectives.

Dazzling!
Spanking!
Somebody probably got paid to say to use those words.
And whoever that person is, you are amazing.
They are definately the latest additions to my vocabulary.
That is all.

02 October 2007

!i!!!OMGZ!!!!11!!1!!!!NEWSUGABABESONG!@1111OMGZOMGZ!THEEXCITEMENT!!WO0O00!ETC!

SO A TRACK FROM THE NEW SUGABABES ALBUM HAS LEAKED!
It's called 'Surprise' and is AMAAAAAAAAAAZING.
Like woah, sooo good.
It's got some "oh-uh-oh-oh" bits.
Only downfall is the lack of Heidi, she only gets half of the middle 8.
And she doesn't sound a thing like herself.
But, it's still amazinggggggggg.
That's all.

30 September 2007

I don't know how I feel about this yet.

Natasha Bedingfield's cover of 'Ray Of Light' by Madonna for the 'Radio 1 Established 1967' compilation.

OMGZZZ!!!#1!!!!1111!!!!SUGABABES4LIFE!!#!#@!111 etc, etc, etc.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
THE SUGABABES NEW SINGLE "ABOUT YOU NOW" IS OFFICIALLY #1 IN THE UK SINGLES CHARTS THIS WEEK!
AND IT'S #1 ON DOWNLOADS ALONE! THE ACTUAL SINGLES AREN'T RELEASED UNTIL TOMORROW.
OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG
I AM REALLY REALLY REALLY EXCITED IN CASE YOU COULDN'T TELL.

And to make things even better, only 8 days until their new album is released!
So here's a clip of 30 second samples from all the tracks on the album to get you ready for it's amazingness:

OMG, I REALLY CANNOT BELIEVE THIS. JEEEEEEEEEEZE!

29 September 2007

I wish I was this good...

...at lipsyncing.
I'm really really really jealous of her abilities.

28 September 2007

There's nothing you can do for me Mr. DJ.

OKAY, SO! Yet ANOTHER new track from the Sugababes' new album has leaked! A clip of 'Never Gonna Dance Again' has surfaced on PopJustice, and it's just amazing. The track was is rather Heidi-heavy in the chorus, which is obviously amazing. And the lyrics are soooo good. They have all become such good songwriters.

"And so I'm never gonna dance again,
I lost the rhythm when you said 'it's over',
And as the final record starts to play,
I feel the dance floor turning colder.
And so I'm never gonna dance again,
'Cause all the music in my world is fading,
I know it's never gonna be the same,
I guess my moves just never made it.
It's over, it's over."

27 September 2007

Genius.

I really am just loving the Sugababes more than you could ever imagine at the moment. And I realised just how much I love their acoustic performances. Whoever thought up the idea of turning 'Easy' into an acoustic song is just genius.

The live acoustic:

And the original:

SO GOOD.

Oh and please ignore Heidi's hair in the actual music video. It was a great idea gone horribly wrong. The video was the lead to their 'Singles Collection' album, so the whole idea was for Heidi and Amelle to look like the two members who founded the group with Keisha, so Heidi wore a red wig to look like Siobhan Donaghy. Good idea, but bad results. So yeah. That's all.

24 September 2007

Amazing.

I really don't have a clue where this is from, but I stumbled across it and it is AMAZING. I really hope it's the official cover, of that the official cover is anywhere near as good as this:

23 September 2007

These are nice.

Kate Nash has like the best creative director in the world. Her album/single covers are always just tooooo good for life itself. These new ones for 'Mouthwash' are SOOOO good.

Best part about the singles is that each format has its own b-side! And the amazing 'Stitching Leggings' is finally being released. It's all just too good. So buy 'Mouthwash' here and support the lovely Kate.

My new favourite person...

...is Mylo. He is honestly the best person in the world. He worked with Kylie on two songs for her album, but they didn't make the album, so what does he do? Leaks them the day the official tracklisting is released. Honestly, it's just too perfect. The two songs 'In The Mood For Love' and 'Spell Of Desire' are SOOO good. So if these didn't make the album, then the rest of the tracks must be amazing! So here they are:

'In The Mood For Love'

'Spell Of Desire'

Or maybe you're in disguise...

More Natasha Bedingfield. This video is soooo good, one of my favourites of the year so far. Not to mention that the song is gorgeous. So yeah, blog-worthy.

21 September 2007

OBVIOUSLY THEY'RE TRYING TO SABOTAGE HEIDI!

It's the only explaination for this, the new Sugababes album cover:

POOR HEIDI! Keisha and Amelle are probably jealous that they aren't as perfect as her, and had this awful image used on the album cover. I mean like what is up with the facial expression? Sabotage is the only explaination. I really cannot believe this.

Oh and by the way Keisha and Amelle, you sabotage plan isn't working very well cause Heidi's hair still looks better than both of yours. HEIDI = BEST HAIR IN POP. Dumb ho's.

Marvellous.

SO DRAGONETTE'S ALBUM IS FINALLY BEING PROPERLY RELEASED!
It was released to iTunes UK last month, but is being physically released in the UK Monday and in Canada on Tuesday! YAY! I'm seriously so excited.

1. I Get Around
2. Competition
3. Take It like A Man
4. True Believer
5. Another Day
6. Get Lucky
7. Jesus Doesn't Love Me
8. Black Limousine
9. Gold Rush
10. You Please Me
11. Marvellous (Bonus Track)

Say, say it again.

OKAY, I ABSOLUTELY LOVEEE NATASHA BEDINGFIELD.
I've kind of gone through phases of loving and being 'eh' with her, but as of now I officially love her. Her next UK single 'Say It Again' is sooooo amazing, and the video is pretty cute:

Highlights of the whole thing include:
a) It's kind of home-movie-ish? Which is pretty glam.
b) It has a pool in it.
c) NB's hair is almost as nice as Heidi from the Sugababes' in it, WHICH IS QUITE THE COMPLIMENT!
d) THEY CUT OUT ADAM LEVIN FROM MAROON 5'S VOCALS! THANK GOODNESS.

X.

OKAY I AM SOOOOOO EXCITED.
The tracklisting and release date for Kylie's new album have been announced! SOOOO EXCITING!

So, first off, it is officially called 'X' (X is the roman numeral for 10, and this will be Kylie 10th album for those living under rocks), and the tracklisting is:

1. 2 Hearts
2. Like A Drug
3. In My Arms
4. Speakerphone
5. Sensitized
6. Heart Beat Rock
7. The One
8. No More Rain
9. All I See
10. Stars
11. Wow
12. Nu-di-ty
13. Cosmic

I'm SOOOO happy that 'In My Arms' made the album! It's one of the track Calvin Harris did for Kylie. The demo of it leaked a few months ago and is seriously amazing. BUT! It apparently has been re-done with a new producer according to song credits that have leaked, so hopefully they are not official, or this new version isn't too different. Calvin has for sure produced at least one song on the album though, 'Heart Beat Rock'. You can listen to the demo of 'In My Arms' here:

Another of the leaked songs, 'Stars' is really good, but I'm not sure if it's album material, so hopefully it's been fixed up a bit. BUT THE MOST ALARMING THING IS THAT 'SENSITIZED' IS ON THE ALBUM! It's a reject from her 2003 album that leaked earlier on in the year. And it is sooooo boring and has these awful 'woos' in the background. I really don't see how it will fit into this electro-pop album. Hopefully if anything the 'woos' are removed.

SO ANYWAYS, YEAH THE ALBUM'S RELEASED NOVEMBER 26TH. I CANNOT WAIT!

17 September 2007

Change.

OKAY SO YET ANOTHER NEW SUGABABES SONGS HAS LEAKED!
The title track from their upcoming fifth album, 'Change', was performed at their IndigO2 showcase, and some fan videos of it have popped up on youtube. Their album is going to be SO AMAZINGLY GOOD. I need to hear the studio versions of this and 'Denial' a.s.a.p. So Island Records, feel free to send me an advance copy of the album, I won't tell a soul. ANYWAYS HERE'S THE SONG ALREADY:

"Ain't it funny how you think you're gonna be okay,
'Til you remember things are never gonna be the same again,
And ain't it crazy how you think you've got your whole life planned,
Just to find out it was never ever in your hands,
Change."

True drizzle.

I am now the owner of these:

Marc Jacobs True Drizzle Vans.

That's all.

16 September 2007

No, no and no!

Jeeze Gwen Stefani, get your act together.

First of all, you decide to release a fourth single ages after '4 In The Morning' (which, as amazing as it is, was quite forgettable as a single) and not only chose one of the worst tracks on the album, 'Now That You Got It', but remix it with some rapper-ish person, and then give it the shittiest video imaginable.

So let's just forget this whole fiasco ever happened and bring on the 'Early Winter' video, alright?

13 September 2007

Neon, metallic, electro - it's the whole package, basically.

Great song
+ Metallic clothes
+ Neon lights
= AMAZING VIDEO

It's by Dragonette, by the way. They're pretty much the best thing to come out of Canada in a LONG time.

Oh Heidi...

I love love love love love this new Sugababes promo pic. Heidi is just too good for life itself. Honestly. Best popstar in the world? I think so. She carries herself so well, I love it. And she has such nice hair, as can be seen in this video:

Please ignore when Amelle and Keisha sing, because they clearly cannot sing live, unlike Heidi who is perfect at everything. Duh.

That's all I have to say about that.

(Oh, and way to go singing overtop of Heidi during her part of the song Keisha. As if copying Rihanna's haircut wasn't bad enough, you're losing point quickly.)

11 September 2007

Oh what could have been.

VB! She really is major, isn't she?
Well this song, 'My Love Is For Real', was supposed to be her 4th solo single in the summer of 2004, but her label folded and it was never released. But it finally leaked online over the summer, so I figured I should post it's amazingness.

Songs that just shouldn't be performed live.

As amazing as it is, Girls Aloud you need to stop trying to sing 'Sexy! No No No...' live. It's just shit. Yes, you want to show you can sing and all that good stuff, but this just makes the song hurt my ears.

Example A: Live on the National Lottery

Example B: Lipsynced on GMTV

I think my point is proven, that's all. And just for the record, that live performance is the best of the bunch as far as live ones so far.

Round and round and round.

I love love love Annie! I've fallen back in love with her debut album 'Anniemal' and now demand that her second album be released immediately. On one of my random youtube rampages I found her video for 'Heartbeat' from a few years back and realised just how amazing it is. Definately worthy of a blog post, obviously, or else this post wouldn't be here, right?

It's kind of '2 Become 1' at some points, but that, paired with the abundance of balloons, probably just adds to the amazingness.

09 September 2007

Just do it with love, love, love, love...

OKAY, SO MY HILARY DUFF CONCERT WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO AMAZING!
SO much better than her previous tours. The outfit changes, dancing, everything! It was a huge improvement. First off my seats were amazing! 12th row on the floor, so basically like 20 feet from the stage. AMAZING! I tried taking pictures but security yelled at me so yeah, that didn't really work out.

Anyways, so she performed like basically her entire 'Dignity' album, every song but 'Happy' (one of my favourites, unfortunately). And did a new song called 'Reach Out' which uses the instrumental from Depeche Mode's 'Personal Jesus', I hope it's her next single, it's so good! Although kind of scandalous for a Hilary song ("Sexual, physical, fantasy, maybe... don't you wanna reach out and touch me")

So she opened with 'Play With Fire' which started out as the Richard Vission remix and turned into the album version, then did 'Danger', 'Come Clean', 'The Getaway' and 'Gypsy Woman' before a quick costume change for 'Someone's Watching Over Me'. Then after another change she did 'Beat Of My Heart' and a medley of 'Why Not', 'Our Lips Are Sealed' and a new version of 'So Yesterday'. I forget the order after that but she definately did 'Never Stop' (with some other cover song mixed in), 'Love Is A Battlefield', 'Wake Up', 'Outside of You', 'Fly', 'No Work All Play', 'Dreamer', 'Dignity' and 'I Wish'. The encore was 'Reach Out' (which is seriously amazing, I cannot possibly stress that enough!) and 'Stranger'.

So yeah, it was basically amazing. And I got a rather amazing poster for my room from the show and a lovely tour programme that has SHINY STUFF on it! How glamourous!

(Oh and I'm such a bad blogger that I forgot to post this on Sunday and hit "save" instead of "publish post", jeeze I suck).

07 September 2007

It's still amazing.

Well, you see, I was on a Sugababes listen-a-thon early and was reminded of how much I love this song. It's definately the best track from the 'Babes album 'Taller In More Ways'. It's a crime that it wasn't a single. Here's the rather ace 'Ace Reject'

Oh, and take note of how it goes: verse 1, bridge 1, verse 2, bridge 2, CHORUS.
I must say that I love when songs don't go into the chorus after the first verse or bridge. SO MUCH BETTER! There's another version that goes: verse 1, bridge 1, chorus, verse 2, bridge 1, chorus, etc! And it's no where near as good, obviously.

TOMORROW...

...I get to listen/see this. In person. LIVE. Right before my very own eyes.
You're extremely jealous, obviously.

It's rather shit, actually.

Okay, first off I must say just how much I HATE when artists use shorter versions of songs in the video. On the radio, sure why not use the "radio edit" or whatevz you want to call it. BUT USE THE WHOLE THING IN THE VIDEO! It really doesn't sit well with me.

So, that's my first complaint about Kate Nash's new video for 'Mouthwash', but it's not the only one. The video itself, is rather shit. Like when you have a song like 'Mouthwash' it deserves a GREAT video, just like 'Foundations' had, but instead gets some stupid roller-disco/performance theme video? Where did that come from? Although I must say that Kate looks adorable, and the video is rather well done. It's just not good enough for such a great song!

And here is Kate's AMAZING video for 'Foundations'

Finally!

Talk about taking things slow. Less than a month until the single is released and the Sugababes finally premiered the video for 'About You Now' today. And I LOVE IT!

The best bit is that they use the album version which has a longer first verse and bridge and more chorus' at the end with different adlibs. BRILLIANT!

Basically, the video shows the 'Babes singing and dancing intermingled with a story of a boy trying to find a girl to tell her how he feels about her now. He's running, so it seems pretty big. He even jumps over things. And runs from the day into the night, so she must be far away. That's about all I can gather from the video, fairly simple. BUT STILL AMAZING. Oh and there's lots of silver and shiney things - SO GLAMOUROUS!

Highlights of the video include:
a) Heidi's outfit
b) Heidi's hair
c) Heidi in general.

SO HERE'S THE VIDEO

02 September 2007

Move over Beyonce...

...because Kate Nash just totally made your version of 'Irreplaceable' sound like shit.

That's all.

It's rather ... Heidi-heavy.

Which clearly means that it is AMAZING!
The Sugababes premiered the second single from their upcoming album this week, nearly a month before the first single from the album is even released. If you read a few posts back you can hear the first single 'About You Now', but this one, 'Denial', is even better! It's rather drum'n'bass and slightly electro-pop in bits. But the best thing is that Heidi sings the ENTIRE song.

31 August 2007

I'm just such a fashionista ...

That I own the same sunglasses that Calvin Harris owns. That's right. I bet no one else can say that. Here they are in all their glamourous-ness:

And here is Calvin wearing them:

THEY'RE JUST SO GLAM!
AND I AM JUST A GLAMKING, OBVIOUSLY.

I'm awful.

I haven't blogged in .. FOUR DAYS!
Ughhhhh.
So I'll blog tonight.
That's all.

OH BY THE WAY, MY SPICE GIRLS SHIRT ARRIVED IN THE MAIL THIS WEEK.
BE JEALOUS!

27 August 2007

Jeeze, somebody's getting popular...

Alright, so aside from producing his own album; working with Kylie, Roisin Murphy and the Mitchell Brothers; remixing for Groove Armada, CSS, and tons of others. We can officially now add "working with Kelis" to Calvin Harris' list of accomplishments. He's produced her new single 'Jury Duty' which is supposed to be released in November. If it's anywhere near as good as Kelis' collaborations with Richard X it will be amazing!

Okay, I'm pissed!

Calvin Harris' lastest single 'Merrymaking At My Place' didn't even make top 40 in the charts this week! What the hell? Clearly the single buying public are even bigger doorknobs than I already thought.

That's all.

(Oh, by the way, it debuted at #67, how shit!)

26 August 2007

I love this!

A*TEENS!
I absolutely love this group, they ALL can actually sing, which is nice for starters. But back on topic, obviously the song is amazing. But the video is like the best thing I've seen in ages. It's basically the perfect video for the lead single to a greatest hits album, I think so atleast. In case you can't tell, it's the group at the time of their greatest hits release, which was like 2004, interacting with themselves in their old music videos! It's quite clever, well I think so atleast. That's all I have to say for now. But after this another A*Teens post is certainly in order.

25 August 2007

Slow down the single-ingle-ingle-eh-eh-ehs pleaseeee!

JEEZE ISLAND RECORDS - YOU SUCK!
It's time for you to face the sad truth that you well and truly suck. And are screwing over the one of the only artists worth listening to on your label - Rihanna. 'Umbrella' was released in what, June? And it clearly was huge. SO WHY CHUCK OUT 'Shut Up And Drive' so soon. And then like 2 weeks later, hey! why not toss 'Don't Stop The Music' into the mix as well? Honestly, way to screw up the album. It could have been huge and kept selling for ages if you spread the singles out, but there's been 3 videos in 3 months, and a fourth single is on the radio already! WHAT ARE YOU THINKING? That's all I have to say for now. So once again in case it wasn't clear the first time: ISLAND - YOU SUCK. BIG TIME!

IT'S HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111!!!!11!omgz! THE EXCITMENT!!!1!!!etc.

SO THE NEW SUGABABES SINGLE FINALLY LEAKED IN HIGH QUALITY!!!!!111!!!!1 omgz
Thank goodness it did, cause the radio rip was starting to hurt my ears.
But anways! The song is sooo good. Probably my favourite single so far this year. It isn't trying too hard, it's nothing new. It's not "cutting edge." It's not "innovative." It's by-the-numbers pop. And it's AMAZING. And finally, nearly 2 years after joining, Amelle gets to take the lead in a song and show her talent! (For those of you living under a rock, Amelle joined the group after Mutya left in 2005. After she joined, she just re-recorded some songs they did with Mutya and released them as singles so it really didn't show anything). BUT THIS SHOWS ALOT, SHE GETS THE LEAD! The only downfall is that you can't hear Heidi until the third verse, and even in the chorus she doesn't join in until the last one, and she only says "about you now," give the poor girl some lines - she is my favourite after all!

And here's a proper one of their videos, this one's for 'Red Dress' which is also rather amazing.

(BY THE WAY, HEIDI'S THE BLONDE ONE, JUST DO YOU KNOW SO YOU CAN SPOT MY FAVOURITE MEMBER AND BE A CREEP LIKE THAT AND EVERYTHING!)

Oh have I got a tale to tell...

Honestly, how many gross trails people live in one town? They're so gross.
Okay, so today at work, this gross lady was trying to steal meat. So she kept throwing it in her purse. And then the secret shopper caught her. So she threw a fit saying it wasn't her. And she eventually started screaming, and trying to hit people. So the supervisors put her in the staircase and held the door shut, and she tried to punch them, and somehow broke one of the steps. Jeeze. Anger management much? So yeah, the police came and all that good stuff, and they let her go, but she had to give back all the meat she was trying to steal, OBVIOUSLY! We can't just give away meat! Even if you're a gross trails lady, there's no exceptions for you! Only for the native's they don't have to pay tax, one of them came in today and got their groceries WITHOUT ANY TAX! Incase you didn't know, not paying tax is pretty damn glamourous, I wish I was tax exempt! THEY SAVED LIKE A WHOLE 60CENTS! Do you know how much you can buy for 60cents? It's ALOT, obviously.

20 August 2007

And the countdown is on.

19 DAYS UNTIL I SEE HILARY DUFF IN CONCERT YET AGAIN.

Here's her song "Never Stop" to hold you all over until I get to post my amazing review of the concert, obviously.

Flashback.

Well, I was blog-browsing and found a link to download the old allSTARS album and it led me to remember how much I loved them when I was like 10 and they released their only album. Their singles are so ridiculous "Things Go Bump In The Night" (AS IN MONSTERS, OBVIOUSLY! Scary stuff!) and "The Land Of Make Believe" but I've found myself listening to them over and over again tonight. It's soooo cheesy, predictable 90s British pop material but I love it. They were like a wannabe S Club 7 and had a TV show and everything, I think it was called Star Street or something like that but I really don't have a clue.

Anyways, here's the video to their ever so wonderful single "The Land Of Make Believe"

AND WITNESS THEIR AMAZING ACTING SKILLS IN THIS VIDEO ("Things Go Bump In The Night")

Oh the memories! I wish I was still 10 and pop music like this was all around me...

Be jealous...

...that I bought this today and not you. It's amazing, I know.

17 August 2007

Oooh these are rare.

A re-release with a cover that's better than the original!

Victoria Beckham's book "That Extra Half An Inch" is finally getting an American release with this cover, which I must say I love. It's miles better than this nonsense that was the original UK cover.

Oh, and apparently the title is a "tongue in cheek reference to her love of high heels." AND HERE I WAS THINKING IT WAS ABOUT BEING ANO! Jeeze.

When bad logo's happen to good people.

Whoever is responsibly for this should be shot. It looks like it should be the logo for little Disney channel star or something. Why can't we just go back to this:

Or this:

Or even this:

Anything's better than that new crap. And to think that they want to try and break America with this shit. What nutters.
